Well, I truly enjoy sports, I truly do. But the problem is joining a sport team such as track, football, ect. would make me have to pratice everyday, almost through out the week. The problem isn't all the work, it's the fact I doubt I'll be able to be involved in any ECs if I join a sport. What do you I should do? For all you CCers that are able to be on sports teams, get straight A's,and are in ECs how do you do it?

Time Management and lots and lots of positive energy

I know that Apen D but a sport such as Football requires me to pratice almost everyday. This is leaving little room for ECs, this is my true problem. For everyone that runs track/cross country how many times a week do u pratice? and for how long?

i had the same problem, and its not worth worrying over.

sometimes if you want to get involved with sports your gonna have to sacrifice a couple EC's. and thats just the way it is because EC's and sports begin at the same time.

or you could skip the beginning of practice and go do your business

Eh. If you really like sports, just do it...make arrangements with the club advisor if it's seasonal. If it's once a day, then alternate what you miss, etc. If it's time consuming and every-day, try to go every-day the days you don't have sports, and work it out. Don't worry-be happy. I had the same problem with drama, but realized that if I wasn't willing to give up xyz to do it, maybe I wouldn't enjoy doing a play.

Also, see if you can do it outside your school-my friend does basketball, track, etc in town leagues and a ton of other stuff

Yeah, you're probably going to have to give up a few EC's. I couldn't tutor, or do speech and debate, or robotics because of sports.

But club meetings are usually at lunch and stuff, so why can't you do those? Plus there's plenty of stuff on the weekend and whatnot.
