<p>Art History isn't easy...period. It's more than memorization, really. As a major you have to know how to analyze a work of art and be able to attribute the style to a certain artist or sculptor. It's not as easy as sitting down and studying to remember. It's way more than that.</p>

<p>I stand corrected, but I still don't think that the tasks you delineated are more rigorous than tasks performed by many other majors. I apologize if this seems different from your perspective; for disabuse, I strongly suggest enrolling in an upper level physics/math course or, to stick in the humanities, an upper level philosophy course.</p>
