In reading a lot of ED lists, I'm seeing a lot of arbitrariness. I didn't apply ED anywhere, but I was a little surprised at the kinds of stats that are making it. Also, I noticed that someone got into Harvard this year with a B average, a 21 ACT and almost no ECs. The ED GPAs are surprisingly lower than you would expect at the Ivy League Schools of those who listed their ED acceptances. The RDs at the Ivy Leagues are mostly March 31 and it will be interesting to see who gets in. Harvard's planning to notify most applicants in April.

Are most 4.0s with lots of ECs going to get into Pitzer or is it likely to appear haphazard there as well? Does anyone here have any insight based on the number of apps or past decisions?
