What do you think my chance are?

<p>I know there is no way of really knowing, but I thought I'd see what you guys think. </p>

<p>I want to go to the University of Michigan for a M.A. in Higher Education. Here are my stats. </p>

<p>Undergrad School: California State University Monterey Bay
Undergrad Major: Humanities
Undergrad GPA: 3.35
GRE Verbal: 480
GRE Quantitative: 560
GRE Writing: 5.5</p>

<p>I don't know what happened with the verbal score. I scored a 600 and 540 on the Powerprep practice tests. Do you guys think I should retake the GRE (if Michigan can accept a December 1 test score)?</p>

<p>It is a start. I’m sure you are aware you are a weak candidate for UM. Pick some additional schools. Did you get strong LORs from your profs at CSUMB? Any research, publications?</p>

<p>I forgot to include my professional experience: I’m the Director of Communications for NEW Scholars, a non-profit organization that cultivates leadership in kids in Kenya by way of educational scholarship, and community outreach.</p>
