I am an early decision applicant at Northeastern. I did not include any racial or religious information in my profile, have a 3.3 GPA, a 2020 SAT score and am taking AP Physics this year as my first AP. I overcame a learning disability through therapies and wrote a stellar essay about this. I go to the highest ranked public high school in Massachusetts and got all A’s during my junior year and first quarter senior year following numerous therapies. My fresh/soph year I got b/b- grades. I played football for three years and got an A+ in AP physics first quarter which has a very hard grading system at my school. I am applying for Premed bioengineering and said that I intend to get a phd. I am also taking honors positive psychology, film and lit, precalc and digital imaging. I also interned at Tufts summer of soph year and again summer of jr year. I also interned at MIT where I created a device to allow people with muscular issues to wash their hair. Here are my SAT scores:
720 in Math, 650 critical reading, 650 in writing with a 10/12 on essay. Made couple mistakes on app which was saying that “i troubleshooted various technology” instead of “troubleshot various technologies” on additional info portion of writing section and made a couple miniscule grammatical errors on activities section. I had a former admissions officer at Harvard help me with my essay and she thinks its ready.
I also worked at papa ginos for one year
