What do you guys think of my chances? Really want to go to Boston College!!

Hmmmm:

you say that you “really want to go to Boston College” but yet you are applying ED to Cornell?

Yes, I loved both colleges and could not decide…will be applying to BC regular and hopefully going there if I get rejected from Cornell. The campus visit and admission rep that came to my school really peaked my interest. What do you think of my chances?

It is very hard to get into BC nowadays, and almost everyone applying will have a 2100 SAT.

Obviously, your gpa is low, but your ECs are pretty good. I especially like your black belt.

My son quit when just four months away, after doing it for 8 years !!!

All in all, I think BU would be more likely, but you certainly have a chance. I would have applied EA or ED to BC rather than Cornell, because I don’t think you will get in ED at Cornell.

more opinions appreciated!
