<p>Hey guys I am currently a junior at a public school looking to go to Columbia. I really don't want to start arrogantly rambling about my EC's because all I'll be doing would be making a fool out of myself, so I'll give you my core stats.</p>
<p>GPA: 4.925 weighted</p>
<p>Rank:
Tied for #1 student freshman year</p>
<h1>1 student sophomore year</h1>
<p>...ranking for junior year comes out at the end of the year but I'm trying my best to hold my place.</p>
<p>SATs
I haven't taken any SATs so far since I'm only a junior but I got a 680 SAT II Bio, and 740 SAT II U.S. History</p>
<p>APs:
I got a 5 on AP US History and taking AP Chem and AP Java (computer science) this year. Looking into taking AP Physics, AP C++, AP Bio, AP World, AP Lit and AP Spanish next year.</p>
<p>ECs:
Scholastic Writing Competition- Gold Key Winner</p>
<h1>1 student in a private Greek language school</h1>
<p>I'm guessing I'll be in NHS, but I won't know that until the end of the year
Looking into an internship with a professor at Columbia over the year and summer</p>
<p>........and that about sums me up</p>
<p>I've really tried to work on my science and math, taking every math and science class I can get my hands on. My dream is to get into Columbia mechanical or civil engineering.</p>
<p>....btw my brother is a Columbia alumni if that makes any difference</p>
