What do you think of my subject scores?

i have a 760 in math SATII and USH SATII
kinda dissapointed for USH
know i could get an 800
anyway how much do these scores hurt me for HYPB?
also i have a 2190 SAT, which i'm going to retake

I think they suck.

well no one trusts the government

I really hate how people are so blind as to not see that their scores are superior compared to like EVERYONE. I almost think you are subtly bragging. If I had those scores I’d have a celebration and treat all my friends and family to a 5 course meal somewhere fancy.

^ Seriously. It’s obnoxious.

don’t be so assumptive
i understand that these are good scores
however, i want to do my best to get into a few of these ivy league schools
i understand that i could just relax, enjoy myself, and go to college, but considering me and my parents, this just won’t happen
i know people from my school who got 800’s and got rejected from ivies and my school is quite competitive, i know many people in my school who got 800’s on these tests
i could be happy with these scores, but if putting in some extra effort and retaking will improve my chances i’m perfectly willing to do the work
on the other hand if you sincerely believe these scores are good enough for these schools then say so
but please don’t criticize me when i try to be respectful

Your SAT 2’s will NOT hurt you for HYP.

Your 2190 WILL hurt you for HYP.

You do realize the ivy league is nothing more than a sports league, correct? Unless they have a program you’re REALLY interested in (and for $50k a year, you better be interested), don’t go. Going to a college based on name is stupid.

absolutely not.
colleges with a name give you the best opportunities out of college
i.e my dad’s half sister went to yale, majored in american history, got mediocre grades, and got a job in goldman sax straight out of college
if you go to an ivy, you have to try to be a failure, but if you go to a regular school you have to try to suceed
going to an ivy just makes getting a good job that much easier

@jamesford
thank you for the response
this was what i suspected
that is why i am retaking it
my freind got 2190 first time and 2340 second so hopefully i can do the same

“well no one trusts the government”

Hahah i love your screename

LMAO “well no one trusts the government” LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LMAO

hahaha
well its true =D

whats the B in HYPB? and isn’t there like no curve for ush? math II is alrite

brown
there is
i believe you can get 6 wrong and get 800
partly why i’m dissapointed

The folks you know who got rejected with 800s SAT II were rejected for something else. If your other stats are the same except for your 760s, you’d be rejected as well. If your stats are the same as somebody who got in with 800s, you’d be accepted as well.

Your SAT II scores are phenomenal and will not bring you down in any way. Focus on the SAT I.

I think your scores are good, but you could maybe try bringing your SAT score up a bit?

I don’t think you have to worry about it too much. You are clearly and excellent student, so don’t sweat it!

I think you should focus more on what makes you tick and explore your interests! I think delving into what you love shows colleges (just as much as SAT scores do) just how proactive and driven you are!

Good luck!

thank you for your input
going to be retaking the SATI until i get a score i’m happy with, or i run out of test dates
