I'll call you Livy on here, and you can see if you like it. I think that the trial thing at your summer program is a good idea. It will let you know if you like being called that.

Seems like the guys all like Olivia - that should tell you something!

Be yourself.

Are there any fast food restaurants in Wallingford? 'Cause occasionally you're gonna want a Big Mac.

Actually, yes, I prefer Olivia. ;) Livvy is ballin', but Olivia is more ballin'.

Livy Loving?

Jeez, Chaos, you just have to find a way out-cool us all every single day. :)

Yeah, Audrey, Livy Loving. ^^

Well... if the guys like it... ;) (except for chaos)

I'm sorry, fun is fun, I still don't get the fast food reference. :) Explain in a PM, please.

Audrey, what's your verdict?

7 yes: 6 no.

forget the verdict, go with Livy.

i like liv

my personal opinion (even though I'm a newcomer here), is that Olivia is too snooty/pretentious (sp). I, with Irish/Scottish blood, instictively don't like Old English names... plus, I new a pair of sisters named Olivia and Gwenievere (def spelled that wrong), and they were quite annoying.

Livvy is nice, and I really like Liv.

I think all the guys like Liv because it makes us think of Liv Tyler and, for old farts like me, Liv Ullman.:)

Well, I knew a girl named Livvy once, with two Vs... so the two Vs is normal for me. However, there was this famous Roman author named Livy with one V who my Latin teacher was obsessed with this past year, so that could be cool and sophisticated as well. Honestly? I just love the name Olivia. Or Livvy. Or Livy. I think you won the first name lottery, actually. And LIV? So classy. Any way you go, you win. It just depends on what you're going for. What is the personality that goes with this name?

I don't know the personality that goes with it, but I think it sounds more outgoing/fun than Olivia. ^^

OK, new vote because right now Livy won, but ....

Livy vs. Liv.... yes or no.

i think that if you go with Livy you'll probably end up being called both Livy and Liv.

Livy. Liv is a little too short for me.

no, liv over livy

Liv sounds for of a nickname for Olivia than Livy.
