<p>my personal opinion (even though I'm a newcomer here), is that Olivia is too snooty/pretentious (sp). I, with Irish/Scottish blood, instictively don't like Old English names... plus, I new a pair of sisters named Olivia and Gwenievere (def spelled that wrong), and they were quite annoying.</p>

<p>Livvy is nice, and I really like Liv.</p>

<p>Well, I knew a girl named Livvy once, with two Vs... so the two Vs is normal for me. However, there was this famous Roman author named Livy with one V who my Latin teacher was obsessed with this past year, so that could be cool and sophisticated as well. Honestly? I just love the name Olivia. Or Livvy. Or Livy. I think you won the first name lottery, actually. And LIV? So classy. Any way you go, you win. It just depends on what you're going for. What is the personality that goes with this name?</p>
