What do you think of these schools and cities?

New York City: NYU, Fordham University, Cooper Union, Eugene Lang

Boston: Boston College, Tufts, School of Museum for Fine Arts, New England School of Photography, Brandeis, Boston Univ.,Lesley Univ,Emmanuel.

Washington D.C. : Georgetown, Catholic Univ. of America, American University

Others: Loyola college in Maryland and University of Notre Dame

Any comments would be appreciated, but would especially like to hear about the arts and humanities( English especially and Photography)academic expectations and variety of courses.

Social life and feel of campus, dorm quality etc.

Realistic stats needed to apply.

Cultural internships in the arts and writing in each city. Safety issues in getting around the city. Museums and galleries that are well known for students in terested in art/photography?

Thanks again. Still playing around with a list and trying to plan a trip to visit some of the above , can you help narrow choices by commenting on what you know?

i honestly think in New York (the state that I am from) Columbia has a beautiful campus. But the city alone is wonderful. So NYU is also a good idea if you want to live in the city.

oh also Georgetown in D.C. is beautiful! D.C. has alot of latenight fun for the college students. ;)
