What do you think the more "regular" CCers would be like in real life?

I thought this would be a fun topic.... I'll post what I think after a bit cuz I'm chicken like that. ;D

We are the regular CC'ers lol... it's an everyday life...

Busy but stimulating senior year, college decision anxiety, good friends to back you up, and a few secret obsessions and hobbies... :)

It looks like the average CCer is an atheist and mentally unstable.

Uhh well I meant like, the more active CCers. The "regulars"...

With intelligence does comes atheism.
I fail to see the correlation between atheism and mental instability, though.

Why has "People wth personality disorders/mental illnesses - represent!" and "Atheists anyone" leaked onto this board? ;_;

^ (Post above the above one) It was a humorous conjecture, and not necessarily related.

Please don't bring up the topic of atheists and how allegedly atheists are smarter then the rest of the nation... I'm sick of that line of reasoning... hear it too many times.

For some reason, I think that a regular CCer has a lot of secrets! And I think that the average CCer secretly thinks that he/she is the coolest person on the planet. Just my weird thinking. It's not really true with me though coz I don't think I'm the average or regular CCer coz I don't really have the grades or SATs of a regular CCer.

Haha what? I disagree with that. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a lot of people who secretly think they're the coolest on the planet..

I think the more "regular" CC-ers
1) are a little bit obsessed with CC; hence the "regular" status.
2) spend a LOT of time thinking about the top college of their choice and getting into it.
3) are heavy procrastinators.
4) have mentioned CC at least once in daily conversation.

A lot of them are moms (parents) too.

BAHAHAHAHA. 3 and 4 are totally true for meee. (But 4 only because other people from my school go on CC! I swear!!!)

Hmmm I don't want to namedrop so I'll just keep my mouth shut for now. >__>

I think this pretty much sums it up. Number 2 and 3 are the biggest ones for me, though.

And can we please leave the atheism thread out of this one. We can debate the existence/non-existence of God and the meaning of life on the other thread. :)

It was begging to be brought up.

Obnoxious, condescending, anti-social, self-esteem issues, overinflated ego, perfectionist, competitive, etc.

Description of yourself?

Maybe we're cognitively dissonant as well? ;D

Maybe we're all just really really really conceited.

I have AOM posters on my bedroom wall.

I also have a “CCers Through the Seasons” calendar

Apparently a lot procrastinators.

In fact, that’s what I’m doing right now.
