What do you think? UMich? Please help

Hey. I feel kinda bad being so nervous about the process and just hope I can get into a school where I'll have a good experience. If you could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it, and please be honest. I'm a junior right now, and when I say I've done 4 years I expect to continue next year.

GPA: 3.8 weighted, 3.7 unweighted
competitive high school, top 4% in the country, usually one kid admitted to each ivy every year

SATs: Math 690 CR 640 Writing 700 total 2030
(I'm taking them again in May and think I'll improve about 30-40 points)
ACTs: Math 30 Reading 32 Science 30 English 32 Writing 10 Composite 31

pretty challenging schedule this year, 3 honors 1 ap

cross country 1 year
tennis 4 years (varsity), captain this year
model UN 4 years, best position paper award last year
about 70 hours community service
over 500 hours of work teaching kids to play tennis, my job
tennis racket stringing "business" (it is but a weak one)
play in tennis tournaments
camp counselor 2 summers
very involved with religious groups (in different ways)

My hopeful choices are
Reach: Vanderbilt, JH, Willam and Mary
About right: BU, UMiami, U Michigan(a little reach)
Saftey: Bently, Arizona State, UConn

please let me know what you think about any of these schools. thanks!

The only school I can actually comment on is U of M, simply because I go to a high school down the road from the university, and we send A LOT of seniors there every year. Based on what I’ve heard from people who have been accepted, you seem to have a really good chance. That being said though, admissions are completely random - I know kids with 34 on the ACT who got deferred. Those cases seem to be rare though. I’d be willing to bet that you get in.

thanks for the help! any other input would be great

please, anyone else?
