What do you think?

Ok, I'm a freshman at Drew University (small liberal arts school in NJ) and I'm looking to transfer next year.

College Stuff:
Freshman Seminar: A-
Calculus: A
Biology w/Lab: A
Chemistry w/Lab: A

This gives me a 3.918 GPA.
I'm also on the softball team at Drew.

HS Stuff:
Unweighted GPA 3.8
Weighted GPA 4.3
5 AP Courses
590 V SAT
690 M SAT
700 SAT II Writing
710 SAT II Math IC
540 (EEK) SAT II US History
Executive Board of NHS
4 Year Varsity Softball

I'm thinking premed and am looking for sciences. What do u think my chances are at UNC (out of state) and Stanford?

you took calc, bio and chem in one semester?

what's wrong with that? I took calculus II, organic chem, physics with calc, and bio in one semester.

UNC no problem.
Stanford would be tough. but if you retake the SAT and do well, then maybe.
why don't you pick some schools in between.
cornell, u of chicago, northwestern...

I am trying to transfer too and stanford is one of the schools that i am applying to and honestly I don't think i have a chance despite my 4.0, honors and 39 credits in one year. My SAT is 630V+780M, which I think is horrible.

It's hard to say how your softball will affect things, i don;t know much about that.

martini you are my hero!

well i do talk to myself after all that but if the admissions people think i am their hero after that it'd be worth it.

yes i took chem, bio, and calc at the same time. And I don't plan on playing softball if I go to a DI school so that wouldn't really affect it in that way. Just as a previous and current extracurricular.

OOPS I really got a 730 on Math IC not a 710
