What do you think?

I transferred to UMD after attending UMBC for three years. I now have two more years at UMD.

I was very excited because i always wanted to attend Maryland but when i told my friend, she told me I wont ever be considered a real, true Terp.

She thinks because i am a transfer student, I didnt earn it like so many other ppl did after high school.

Now i feel like i wont ever be able to call UMD my own. Like i dont belong there.

What do you think?
Please be honest :)

Sounds to me more like it’s your supposed friend that you can’t truly call your own.

Agree with Sikorsky. Transferring in can actually be harder than freshman admission. And UMBC is not a slacker school.

If you did not earn it you would not be there. Honestly no one is gonna know that you are a transfer student unless you tell them because I doubt they would ask. Also no was is going to care that you are a transfer student if anything they will simply ask you how you like it at your new school.
