What do you think?

Hi!

I was just wondering about the future and wondering about my extracurriculars.
Here's what I do: (I am a high school junior)

-managing editor of school newspaper; on staff for 3 years
-volunteered at local hospital for 3 years (around 250 hours)
-paid internship at local newspaper for 4 months
-plans to participate in CDC's Worksite Experience Program
-managing a research website about disease

Is it too much? Do I seem to fickle? I do honestly enjoy everything.

Thanks for your time!

Never too much haha. As long as you balance your time with school, it looks great. Good to hear you enjoy them too!

There is such a thing as too much, but this isn’t it. Your ECs represent significant commitments and show some ‘relatedness.’ I assume you are checking out journalism and possibly research or medicine as a future career? This makes lots of sense -not fickle at all. Fickle is when someone joins and becomes president of a dozen clubs and you know immediately that they are probably popular and certainly title-chasers but nothing else of substance.
