What do you think?

I was just waitlisted at George Mason University in Virginia, what do you all think my chances are given the history of the school

Call the school and ask for their waitlist statistics, how many people were waitlisted last year and how many people were accepted off of the waitlist.

Last year, 702 applicants were offered a spot on the waiting list, 354 accepted a place, and 113 of those 354 were accepted. You should still call the school and ask if their waiting list is ranked and if so, what your rank is.

Once waitlisted (and if the school actually accepts people off of the waitlist), you should remain in contact with them and let them know that you are interested. Keep them informed of anything that changes in you app for the better such as grades, awards, your progress on becoming an Eagle Scouts, and so on.
