What do you think?

Hi guys! I'm currently a senior, and I'm wondering if you guys would be able to give me chances on my top schools. Here are my stats:

SAT II: Math II-790, Chem-800

Current schedule:
AP Calc BC

Honors:

School paper-sports page editor
Summer camp counselor
Volunteer at an after school program for underprivileged kids
Member of 3year leadership program for Jewish teens; one of 20 teens selected statewide

Recs: Teacher ones should be good. Guidance counselor rec is probably pretty generic. I also have an additional from my adviser for the school newspaper

Essays: Good.

Schools:
Duke (ED)
Cornell (legacy)
Tulane (EA)
Tufts
Emory
Binghamton
Geneseo
Vanderbilt
Miami FL
Rice
UNC Chapel Hill

I really appreciate any input. Thanks!

Oh forgot to say, my intended major is chemistry.

Bump! Forgot to say I’m also in NHS and Spanish Honor Society. Anyone want to chance, I’ll be happy to chance back.

Duke (ED) - Low reach
Cornell (legacy) - high match/low reach
Emory - High match/low reach
Vanderbilt - Low reach
Miami FL - Match
Rice - Match
UNC Chapel Hill - Match

Awesome, thanks OperationIvy. More opinions are appreciated!

Duke is a low reach I think, and the only other one I know about is UNC-CH. I think that you have a good shot but being OOS may cause some problems. UNC is notorious for it’s OOS competition.

Thank you! Anyone else?

I think you’re a shoo-in at UM. You should also have an excellent shot at some good merit money. Good luck!

Thanks a lot! UM isn’t my top choice, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about it so I figured why not apply. They’ve been really good about merit money I’ve heard, especially for those from the northeast like me.

Any other opinions?

Look good for bing, Miami, geneseo, vandy, unc, rice
Rest are reaches.
