No chance for Honors, 100% chance for regular admssion... keep it up!

I disagree about your chances with Honors. Honors is more about learning than it is about grades. I'm in it right now, and I know some people who probably had your profile. They want to see your desire for learning, to think outside of the box, and to challenge ideas. Your profile will have to hold its own, but if it does and you can really grasp the purpose of the Honors Program and infuse it into your essay, you may have a chance for Honors. It is definitely competitive though.

As for UW overall though, you have a very strong chance for admission, and if you can really do well on your essay, you should be set.

One tip on the essay (from a conversation with Jim Rawlins, Associate Director for Recruitment and Outreach UW Admissions)--they really just want to know more about you as a person. Give them something genuine and real. Make it conversational and talk about something that you're passionate about. Good luck!
