I recently got my SAT scores back from the May testing and was wondering if the large discrepancies in my numbers will hurt me or not.

Jan. 07

SUPERSCORE- 2210 (1510 in Math and CR)

Those are some big differences in numbers and I am a little worried that the colleges think I might have been a fluke. I am interested in applying to the Ivy League schools and although these scores are not the top end of their pool, the rest of my app. makes up for it.

But what do you think about the large differences in numbers? Is it something to worry about?

Which Ivy League School?

I'm interested in almost all of them as I have yet to narrow down my search.

You need to narrow it down because they are all different. You can't possibly like every single one of them, unless all you're concerned with is the Ivy League designation.

Ok, my main school of interest is Harvard. I'd like to study business and eventually become and investment banker. I know it's a reach but I'd like to give it a go and was just wondering whther or not this would hurt me much.

Also, could you give reasoning for several different Ivies? That would be really really helpful. Thanks.

Well if you're interested in business you should check out the University of Pennsylvania... The Wharton School of Business there typically tops the charts for virtually every business field.
