Schedule: I've taken the most rigorous courses my school offers

Hooks: First generation, graduating after first semester to pursue a volunteer opportunity in South Korea (teaching English)</p>

MISC: My income bracket is < 60,000...my father is disabled and receiving social security benefits (he is bedridden), and my mother is a flight attendant who is home ten days a month if we're lucky. Subsequently, I raised my little brother (he is four years younger). I didn't talk about these circumstances in my application, but my counselor did in her reccommendation letter.</p>

<p>I really like NYU, but there's no way I can attend unless I get some decent money. =/</p>

and i think you have a veryyy good shot at getting a lot of money from nyu and you’re probably going to get tons of scholarship money from other sources and financial aid from fafsa. nyu will probably be very willing to help you attend!

<p>Thanks everyone! Illy, thanks for the heads up…I was planning on doing something along those lines…English major/creative writing minor. I hope you guys are right about getting money, because I’d love to attend NYU.</p>
