Do I have too many reaches, or too many safeties? I don't think I will apply to all these schools. Which ones are reach, match, safety?

Northwestern…reach
RPI…reach

the rest matches and safeties.

However…the main thing I see are a LOT of out of state publics.

How much will your parents pay each year? If they won’t pay for all costs, then take off most of those OOS publics.

For instance…the OOS costs of UPitt and UDel are about $35k per year. If your parents won’t pay for nearly all of those costs, then those schools won’t be affordable.

What schools are your financial safety schools (schools that you know you’ll get accepted to AND know that you can cover all costs.)

Once we know how much your parents will pay, we can help you trim your list and perhaps add new ones.

If you have a safety you like (U. Mass Amherst?) you might be able to take off a few of the less selective places. I’m not sure that Lafayette is a match with a 1230. If you like the small Pennsylvania schools, you might look at Muhlenberg and Ursinus which are a little easier to get into. Don’t drop Lafayette, but maybe add one slightly less selective Pennsylvania LAC.

Money is not too much of an issue. Thanks for the responses.

Right about Lafayette…missed that.

Money is not too much of an issue.

Does that mean that your parents will pay for most costs? How will you cover costs that your parents can’t/won’t pay?
