what do you wanna do after college?

Do a masters degree in video game programming, and go on to work for Nintendo :)
Alternatively, do a PhD in Computer Science, and be an academic.

I want a Ph.D in political science, and I honestly want to become a high-level politician.

all you people thinking you'll get rich off investment banking are kidding yourselves.... you won't get to retire early from ibanking

LOL, namaste. Sometimes I think the same thing.

Do undergrad work, Master's degree, Doctorate, PHD and performance dimploma, during and after that sing professionally in opera, concert and recital, as well as teach voice, opera and voice pedagogy at the collegiate level, and then eventually settle down in a career as a voice/speech pathologist. But, I plan on performing until I'm 75.

I want to go to optometry school and become an optometrist. I also wouldn't mind getting married some day.

1) Backpack across Europe with my boyfriend after I graduate.
2) Work in LA in the music industry and become a backup singer for a famous pop star for a couple months, or half a year.
3) So after my gap half-year, go to a top law school in New York, and possibly get an MBA at the same time, in case I want to become a CPA.
4) Pass the bar in New York; maybe get a CPA license if I decide I hate law.
5) Never marry, but have a live-in boyfriend. Have an open relationship with boyfriend, but also date around (possibly)
6) have one kid out of wedlock, because I think marriages never work.
7) work either for a firm, or work for a large corporation-- as a CORPORATE attorney--with a head office in London and live in London for a couple years. (My boyfriend is a British citizen, so if it helps, I'll marry him and get a visa to work in England, not cuz I think marriages work though :p)

**All of this within the next 12/13 years.

*overall career goals: brief stint as professional singer in LA; to become a corporate attorney in a large corporation and travel, esp. in Europe; live in London & New York City as in-house corporate attorney

** relationship goals: live-in boyfriend, never marriage

a maths teacher...

Get a job, meet some people, chillax. Yeah, I don't plan much (especially for 4 years in advance). To predict anything 4 years from now is a joke, in my humble opinion.

get a bachelors degree in journalism...
work as a editorial assistant...at either a conde nast/hearst magazine(whichever company sisters working for so it would be easier to get a job at) my oldest works at seventeen as a part of hearst company but is applying for a photo editor job at Lucky back in conde nast where she had her last job b4 17 and a internship 2 yrs back...at 2 other magazines in conde nast...then eventually become associate editor Then go to columbia graduate school of journalism..then become a photo editor at yet another magazine(i will probably get all 3 different positions at 3 different magazines its what people do in that industry.. supposably)

and oh yeah we will have 4 kids...3 girls 1 boy...brielle elizabeth Irene Grace Schuylor anne...Cameron thomas

Become an online teacher and just go travel and party anytime I want.

I want to work in the film industry-- starting off in the business/marketing aspect of things for a production company whose films i really respect. once i make money and contacts and learn the industry, i'd ideally love to produce.

i want a great lower manhattan loft-- tribeca, battery park, soho, w. village. eventually adorably artsy city kids and a great husband and two dachshunds.

Study Econ or Philos. or MassComm at college

Work at an advertisement firm or go to grad. school (law).

Either continue working at the firm or become a lawyer (not sure about the latter yet)

Geeze How can you be so sure Lesmizzie that you'll have 3 girls 1 boy? Who knows you might end up having 1 girl and 3 boys?

Porn industry ;)

lol w/e nvm im lucky i have a sister already in the magazine industry(associate photo editor at a magazine) And ive always been told its always good to know someone in the industry...im sure she will help

Yes it does help to have someone close in the industry but in the end its your talent and hard work that counts. Doesn't it folks?

If only that were true, dinnie. I think you can make a conclusion based on our current federal administration and determine whether or not it's based on meritocracy rather than cronyism or nepotism

I get the point, Newworries. But, the thing is you really can't survive on someone else's backing up for long, even if you did you would end up no more than being a mediocre merely puddling through life. If you are above average, learn how to make the right contacts well you are going to be ahead. My opinion, of course.
