what do you wear to a campus tour?

Just curious. I’m not sure how to dress. I’m pretty sure it’s informal but I’m not sure HOW informal. lol

visiting Yale tomorrow

khakis and polo. or a nice casual dress shirt. simple.

For a tour you can wear whatever you want (within reason- not a bathing suit....) Shorts, jeans- whatever. If you are having an interview, dress up just a little more (polo/khakis).

I always say show some respect for the people and the circumstances...and you NEVER now who you might get to talk to, especially at the smaller schools

A bikini.........

Wear business casual and comfy shoes! Memories of blisters will surely mar your college-visiting experience.

if you arent going for an interview... who cares. wear whatever you would normally wear.

If you are a hot girl, you should wear something revealing and sexy.. maybe you'll attract attention from some of the current students and they'll sign a petition to get you accepted. Who knows? It might work...

TTG

Dress for hot weather and a fair amount of climbing hills and stairs. If you plan to interview afterwards, take a change of shirt.

EVERY college representative that you meet at a college visit is potentially someone who can help you later in the process. Get your tour guides name and e-mail, get the card of the person giving the info session. In doing that you'll need to introduce yourself so don't wear anything that might negatively impress. Think about the text of your t-shirt or bare skin exposure.
