I'm going to be going to University of NH in a few weeks and am not sure what shoes to pack with me.

I'm a guy and am confused as to what shoes most people (guys&girls) around the dorms and for the majority of times hanging out?

Sneakers? Flip flops? What are most people wearing from August-April when just lounging around or heading to class? Could you get away with Flops in new england for a majority of it? Is that what most people do? I much rather rely on flops most of the time and bring a pair of sneaks and boots as well when needed.

What do you usually wear for footwear in college? This is more so in terms of chilling in dorms, getting a bite to eat, etc.

I’ll be going to Boston next week for college…I’m currently planning on just taking a pair of sneakers that I normally wear 99% of the time, plus dress shoes for formal occasions. I don’t wear flip-flops but I’d imagine in the summer it shouldn’t be that bad. When it gets to October-November, you may want closed-toe shoes.

Flip flops for about a month. Sneakers and a good pair of waterproof Timberland type hiking sneaker/boot for late fall/winter/wet spring.

Well once you move in soon most people wear flip flops. Make sure you bring sneakers, rainboats, and some type of dress shoe and sperrys if you like those.

Guys wear mostly sperrys throughout the year. Flip flops when its warm out. Timberlands during the winter or during a rainstorm.
