School supply talk!

I had a weekly planner last year, but that started to get crowded... so this year I have a daily planner with lots more room to write assignments and meetings or just random lists of things I need to buy on the weekend. When that fails or I'm tired of carrying it around, little spiral bound notebooks are my favorite thing in the world. I have tons! Sometimes I just write my assignments on a piece of lined paper cause I can stick it in my purse and it's less hastle...

our school provides us with an agenda/planner book

My school provides us with a planner/agenda at the beginning of the year, and that's what I use.

I engrave them into my mind ;)
I'm too lazy for agendas... looks like I'll need to start learnin.

our school provides a pretty nice planner

My homework assignments go written on my hands or in my brain.

Yeah, I'm that cool. Or actually, that lazy and disorganized.

My HS gave us all planners last year, which came as a complete shock, seeing as how they usually don't give us anything. They mostly take, but that's another story. Anyway, I did use the planner at the start of the school year, but I became much too lazy to take it out and write stuff down. So I tried to remember homework with my brain. Bad idea. Walking out of class, I'd be like "Oh no problem. I can remember that." The next day I'd walk into classes and say "What? We had homework?!?!?" and scramble to quickly put it together. I find the most effective way to be writing it on my hand. It never gets forgotten that way, haha. Maybe this year, if the school gives out planners again, I'll actually use it. But that's highly unlikely.

I make lists in notebooks - I have yet to find a planner with a suitable format (suggestions welcome, I guess?). When I'm bored I color-code by either class or priority and cross things off as I complete them. I also write on my hands rather hopelessly, but I'm attempting to break that habit.

(Hah - when I saw the title I thought, automatically, "Twelve-point times new roman, black, single-spaced." I don't know whether that's sickening or fantastic...)

we call them assignment pads, i guess no one else does? lol but yeah i just get this one kind from staples every year, it's perfect size and has a good amount of space to write everything.

but for some subjects like precal i just wrote the txtbk page and #s of the problems on the page before in my notebook because i never had enough time to get my assignment pad out and write it all

I deffitanly use my planner, because if not I will forget!!!

I always remember big assignments. Easy assignments are usually done in class :)

my school supplies everyone with planners as well. They call them "navigators."

gosh i wish my school gave us planners. all we get is a piece of paper with a calendar on it. one for each class and most of the core class teachers collect them and grade them. at my middle school we got really nice planners that were daily and broken down by subject. i was going to go buy one last year but then realized i would still have to write everything again on to our schools lame piece of paper. why do twice the amount of work?

Our district supplies the middle schoolers and elementary schoolers with assignment pads. I guess they figure by high school you should get it together on your own. Anyway, I try to remember them or write them on a piece of looseleaf. It usually gets lost and I end up calling someone. But I did a majority of my assignments in class this year. And there's always borrowing it and copying from someone.

my pocket pc. or sometimes i voice-record them into my phone. usually it sounds something like "hey you stupid, dont forget that paper on andrew jackson you have to write, it's due next tuesday!"

i use a school supplied diary, broken down by day and classes, it also tells me what week it is (1 or 2) for the fornightly timetable i have. My school even puts in the school song, rules, regulations and contact details for the staff.

Same.

My school provides planners but ehh...its not my thing.

My school provides us with a daily planner the sice of a big notebook. We have to make up our schedule and our classes for each period so I have to write them down in the agenda. Whenever we enter a class and that certain class is not what we wrote down in our agenda for that period then we get in trouble.
