<p>Not really sure…I’m one of the asian nerds on the math team, the physics team, who plays violin really well, who gets good grades and takes a boatload of APs. At the same time, I’m one of the top tennis players and win the school elections that I run in.</p>
<p>So I hope I’m viewed in pretty positive light. I guess I’m the person that does everything.</p>

<p>Um they think I’m really weird. I don’t know why but I tend to act really dumb to smart people in my AP class yet smart to dumb people who are not in AP classes. Er except in math this one girl knows I’m smart and she’s constantly trying to compete with me even though I win.</p>

<p>Most people in my school think I’m just the quiet smart girl. I’m not really noticed by most unless I get an award or my name is heard on the announcements for honor roll or something.</p>
<p>The prep/jock types like to make fun of me behind my back though (I use “behind my back” quite literally). They find it amusing. </p>
<p>I find it amusing they believe I care about the opinions of my high school peers.</p>
<p>Ha they make fun of me to my face like when I get the highest grade in math they give me nasty looks then crack racist Asian math jokes</p>
<p>People seem to think I’m some kind of anomaly; I’m really nothing exceptional in the IQ department, except that my school has no sort of academic bent whatsoever, and I just really like to learn.</p>
<p>Thus, I never get nominated for any kind of awards or anything because people think that my moderate intelligence will guarantee life handed to me on a platter. :|</p>
<p>Oh, people also often think that my parents must be scientists or something. (They’re a teacher and a farmer).</p>
<p>I have a lot of friends, but I rather despise my IB classmates as cutthroat grade grubbers. I tend to hang out with artsy honors kids, who are usually much more laid back and nicer.</p>

<p>Mostly they just think I’m the quiet nice girl at the beginning of they year, but different by classes.</p>

By the end, I get a lot of comments, jokingly, mostly along the lines of “I wish I were you”, or “Why can’t you fail the next test?”.</p>
<p>They just think I’m smart, and easy to get along with, I guess.</p>

<p>^^I get that too. “Why do you have to be so smart?” and “You probably ruined the curve for the exam!” Except their not kidding.</p>

<p>I really have no idea what they think of me. I mean some people tell me I’m really smart and stuff, but I am not first in the class or anyting. very very good rank, but not top 10 (gunning for it though)</p>
<p>I really hope they dont think im too arrogant or anything. I do well at a lot of things, but i try to keep my head from getting too big. I have a lot of leadership positions but i try to be the leader thats really understanding and easy to work with. I do think I’ve rubbed a couple people in the wrong direction, and I have specific people in mind.</p>
<p>If i had to guess, i would say there are two mes. they depend on the class or where i am. some classes im very serious and concentrated on work. others i dont do a damn thing. In general though, when i need to work i do. i hope people see me as a hard worker.</p>

<p>That’s not what you said in the thread, and I know that I got at most 1 of the 2 disputed questions wrong.</p>
<p>^ the score report didn’t come out until a week or two after the scores themselves. i thought i was gonna get nabbed for a bad erasing job on one of the questions, and thought i could have had the “derisive” question wrong. but in spite of all of that, my online score report said i was perfect.</p>
<p>Token tall black girl. Quiet. Polite for a black person. Smart. Plays volleyball. “Should” play basketball.</p>
<p>I don’t know how people see me, exactly. people dont tell me what they think of me, probably because i dont have any friends. i get stared at a lot. people tell me im tall a lot.</p>
<p>i cant wait until college.</p>
