My parents are going to pay for my cell phone, health insurance, and some dorm stuff. I’ll use my grad party money to buy a laptop and summer job money for dorm things. Most of my tuition and room and board is covered via scholarships and I’ll be able to cover the rest with savings at least this year. And they’ve said that they won’t take out loans for me. So I’m on my own for tuition and such when my savings run out.

My parents pay for my car, gas, car insurance, health insurance, and life insurance. I pay for everything else.

Everything. Buttt I help a lot around the house too; ie, I write my dad’s work contracts, I baby-sit my little sister alllll the time and take her places, I cook sometimes, I clean everyday and do everybody’s laundry and other stuff like that. I hate not having a job -__- but I can’t complain. <— on breaks only and on weekends when I come home.

Nothing at all.

When I head off to college in the fall, they will pay for my cell phone and airfare. They might send me fifty bucks once a month or so to help with basic expenses.

Other than that, I will pay the little tuition/room board/books/etc that isn’t covered by financial aid with outside scholarships, work study, or loans. i’ll pay for things like clothes, toiletries, going out, alcohol with my savings.
