Yeah.
Got a 760 on the diagnostic without reviewing. With some review, what could I get on the real SAT Math 2?

most probably an 800. Barrons is way harder.

Yeh, but the diagnostic is way easier than the actual barron's practice tests.

^ I second the above. You should try your hand on the practice tests then report back.

Hmm, that sucks. Barron's is frustrating lol.
Well I am aiming for a 780+.
What do you think I should get around on the real Barron's tests for a 780+ on the real Math 2 test?

Around a 650-700 from what I hear.

Probably 750+.

(i think arachnotron was answering your first question - what would you get - not your second - what would i need to get a 780+)

actually, I found diagnostic harder than the other barron's tests
anyways if you are getting above a 700 on barron's you will get an 800 on the actual thing as long as you don't make stupid mistakes or freak out on test day

i never got higher than a 650 on the practice tests and got a super easy 800 on test day (i'm fairly certain i was -1 on raw score)

definetely 800. i scored between 710 and 730 on Barrons and received a 780 on real test. good luck

Barron's tests aren't even like the real thing. They're "harder" but they're also different. So you can't say with certainty that X score on barron's yields Y on the real thing.

Try the actual practice tests, not the diagnostic.
I got 720, 740, 750 on my practice tests and got a 760 on the real thing

wow really^^^

i continously made 600, 610, and 660 in barron's and pulled off a 780 on the real thing.

okay well I took the first practice test in Barron's and got a 790 lol
i did so because someone said that the diagnostic test is easier than the real practices tests
i did some reviewing for that score, but I am not trying to brag but honestly isn't that score kind of high for barron's? i think i took an easier test or something because everyone else got way lower..
i have the eighth edition and it has six tests, not three like some people have been saying
maybe the eighth edition is easier?

so yeah i think bsdber and i have the same edition since our diagnostic scores were lower than out practice test scores
maybe you guys have a different edition since you say that your diagnostic is way easier than your practice test?

^ I don't believe the editions really matter (The companies that produce the books just slap on a new edition and fix a few typos even though there are still many just to profit from the "new 2009 version" sticker on it.

in the beginning of the book it said that a lot of information was taken out
(and some stuff that wasn't there before was put in)
well i hope the tests are equally hard..

Haha I kept getting around 600 on my practice tests (sometimes even lower..) but got a 760 on the actual thing. Only did like 2-3 of the practice tests though. (Kind of wish I would've done more)

I was probably more focused during the real test though..

Barron's is much harder than the real thing.

^ Yes, that seems to be the general consensus on the thread >_>

Anyways, you should definitely take the Barron's practice tests and then see how you do.
