I'm transferring to UCR in the fall and I found out that in one of my spring classes I got a C-. What does it mean? I know that they say you must maintain a grade of C in all your classes between the time you applied and the time you transferred. Does this might I might not get in? If anyone can help me with this, I really appreciate it.

If you’re transferring from community college, I would assume that a C- would not matter, as CC GPAs are calculated differently than UC GPAs. CC GPAs are calculated like high school GPAS (where plusses and minuses do not matter) and I do know that a C- in high school probably wouldn’t effect one’s admission. However, I am not 100% sure, and it would be best for you to email your admission counselor. Good luck :)
