Hello there. I am currently enrolled in community college and going for an english degree, my classes are going okay. Im an average C student who procrastinates and worries constantly. I’m struggling with my classes more then ever this semester and I believe I will end up getting a D in my government class. What does a D mean for my future? Should I re-take it the course, is it necessary? I have a feeling that maybe the college life isn’t for me but what course of action should I take? I’m 19 and living with my parents but what kind of job would I need in order to move out and live a stable life? I really appreciate any positive/helpful comments. Thank you.
So talk to your counselor about it. Don’t know if taking a W can still be had or dropping the class.
The bigger picture here is the worries constantly and procrastination. Is there a learning center? Counselor for mental health?

This book has a specific chapter on procrastination. Also it shows you more effective ways to study. This has nothing about being a straight A student. Its about reaching your potential. You most likely don’t know how to study. This will give you the ways to do it. Hint : less is more but only if you do it the correct way. It shows you how to schedule and keep to it.
I wouldn’t throw in the towel after one semester. Go to office hours, tutoring sessions etc. Make it happen
