<p>I missed one question on the math placement exam... stupid careless mistake... if i get a perfect score does it do anything for me or is one wrong and a perfect score the same result?</p>

<p>The score is only used for your first math course placement. It isn’t recorded on your permanent record. The key is to pass it at a level which matches your past math courses, otherwise you will need to repeat them. That happened at our NSC, a few test takers did not pass & they had to start at a lower level. They had only taken the test once since they didn’t start early and the system doesn’t allow you to retake without waiting. </p>
