Hi everyone. I didn’t grow up here in the US, so I don’t really know a lot about Ivy League School. I am currently enrolled in a Community College studying Engineering Science and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Today I got a mail from Columbia University. Does it mean anything special?
Hi there, I didnt grow up in the US either. I knew what an Ivy League school was and so when I received an email from the GS school, I deleted it. Its not special unless you decide to apply to Columbia as a transfer student which is what I did just before graduating from my community college with an AS in liberal arts and sciences.
I just received my acceptance letter to the GS school.
It will be special if you follow through.

No, it doesn’t mean anything special. You’re in PTK and they’re advertising to students in PTK. However, this doesn’t mean it’s not worth looking into, as many PTK members make for good GS students (hence why they’re targeting you).
