I got a letter (physical letter) from USC end of 11th grade saying that “according to the information they have from my College Board” I “should consider applying to USC this coming fall”. Does this mean anything? Would this benefit my application even though I didnt mention it in my Common App?
It’s probably just a marketing letter and I doubt that it means much. Lots of schools send those out, especially after students have registered to take the SAT or ACT.
Ohh ahaha! I thought it was kinda genuine because it was directed with my stats and stuff. (lol)
One of S’ USC classmates told him that the classmate was sought out by USC when she was in high school in the East Coast. She got into a couple of Ivies and chose USC’s free ride because the parent cannot afford to pay for the cost of an Ivy League education. USC actively seeks the most highly qualified candidates.
