What does it contain??

<p>Was just too excited and curious-what does the admission packet contain-any 'gifts' from NU??
Also, please mention when you got the packet since I have not yet gotten mine and am beginning to worry....(I am an International )</p>

<p>I got mine two days ago and there were no 'gifts.' Honestly, I was pretty disappointed overall with the admission packet.</p>

<p>I live overseas (taiwan). Got my decision online on 3/26 and I got the admission packet by fedex on 3/28. I guess you will be getting it very soon. there is nothing special in the admission packet.</p>

<p>You get a shirt over the summer if you matriculate. Honestly, people complained my year too, but are you going to influenced by something petty like that?</p>

<p>On the Facebook group it says that some people got a bumper sticker, but I didn't get one, it seemed to be just the standard acceptance package. </p>

<p>Of course, it's NU, so even that itself excites me. :)</p>

<p>Nothing special really. Basically everything you need to register as a freshman.</p>

<p>arbiter, ofcourse I dont want a gift to influence me-I am pretty much set on NU.I just feel it would be good to have something other than the usual stuff from a place you truly love!
And, its Northwestern-that is more than exciting by itself!!</p>

<p>I got a Northwestern metal luggage tag with a black strap. The people who are getting their flights covered to go to the NU days got this.</p>

<p>I got the NU metal luggage tags also and the note saying that they will pay for my transportation. Wasnt expecting this at all! If you go to the page they tell you to, it doesnt give any info on them paying for us, does anyone know how they will take care of the charges and make arrangements? I know I can call monday for answers, but if anyone knows now, that would be much appreciated!</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm not sure about those things either. I emailed them today, so hopefully I'll get a response soon. Please post if you get any information before I do!</p>

<p>I think that's about the only thing I don't like about Northwestern: their school colours.</p>

<p>Haha, yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of purple either, but hey, I try to think of it as a "royal" color.</p>

<p>At least it's purple and white...my elementary school colors were purple and gold. Hideous.</p>
