What does it mean if my provisional contract is low?

<p>I was accepted to UCSD from UCR and my provisional contract states that I need to maintain a 2.0 for the Spring 07 quarter and a 2.5 gpa overall. Does this hypothetically mean I can get D's if i wanted to?</p>
