I was registering for math iic online on the collegeboard website, when I was asked which colleges I would like to send my score to. What exactly does this mean? Don't all the colleges see my score anyways since I include it on my app in the future? What difference does it make? Thanks!

Actually, you have to send official reports of your scores. You have to self-report them too, but also officially. So you will have to pay a fee to send all of your scores to all of your colleges at a later date. You can do this ahead of time to avoid this fee, but if you are not sure of how well you will do, I would advise against it.

Like sarazlig said, each college requires an offical score report from the College Board. When you register to take a SAT exam, CB gives you four free score reports. Otherwise, score reports cost $9.00. Each score report includes your 6 most recent SAT I and 6 most recent SAT II scores. There is no clear advantage or disadvantage to sending your scores to college now if you will be taking the SAT I and more SAT II's in the future. However, when you take your last SAT test (either I or II), send the free report to four college that you are going to apply to (or atleast considering). Even if you do this during your junior year, the colleges will keep your score report on file so that when you do submit an application, if will be avaliable.

Thanks for the clarification!
