What does it mean when one of QB's partner universities reach out to an applicant?

Hello, I am very new to this. I recently received a letter from QB about their program and I'm looking into applying but was kind of brushing it off thinking that it just may be a waste of time. Today though, I received a message through email from Yale University's dean of admissions basically just urging me to apply through QB. I was in a bit of a state of shock after because I couldn't believe that the dean of admissions at Yale would contact me because my stats so far are nowhere near the stats their asking for. How seriously should I take this? What does this mean? Do partner colleges usually reach out to students?

Here are some more details about me:
-So far I have a 4.4 GPA and a 24 ACT score taken cold.
-I've gotten all 3's and one 4 on my AP tests.
-Family income is between 40 and 50K.
-EC's include dance and journalism- Editor-in-Chief of school paper next year. (I know, I don't have a pool of EC's like most students do.)
-Clubs include National Honor Society and Best Buddies

Any advice guys?

Sorry, but it doesn’t mean anything. They are simply spreading the word to get more applicants. I got the same email a few days ago.

I thought so. Thank you for your response!
I guess I better get that ACT score up.

Good luck! Try the SAT if you’re having trouble. The ACT frustrates me so much
