I was very impressed with University of Georgia's Honors Program, and I'm wondering what my son's chances would be for a Foundation Fellows scholarship. He's taken the SAT once (800 CR, 690 math) but will take it again, has about a weighted GPA between 4.1 and 4.2 (I can never remember exactly), lots of depth in several extracurriculars (theatre, music -- not much community service), production manager for a community theatre's youth programs, some leadership, works part-time most of the school year. He interviews incredibly well, but he would have to make it to the interview weekend. Anyone out there have a kid who received this?

I would suggest asking this question in the University of Georgia home page, as more people would probably be more acquainted with the scholarship.

My D has two classmates who just got notified a couple of weeks ago that they had both received it, one is val and the other is probably top 5 out of nearly 700 in the class. Both are in IB with high 1500's SAT's with LOTS of leadership and EC's.

Thanks for the info. I'll also try this question on the UGA home page.
