Wow, that story does seem a little extreme

haha after posting that story, i'm the super scared one now. i've been accepted to brown, but ....

my predicted A level grades were all As.
however my A level grades became like this:
History: A
Literature: A
General Paper: A
Economics: D

The only thing that didn't match my predicted grades was economics, but i know it's a pretty huge drop. I know colleges consider a minimum C for a pass. Will they think I failed my economics? It isn't a fail in A level context, there's still E. And then AO pass and then F (these two are real fails)

i seriously don't know what happened to my economics. i studied the hardest for it, probably 5 hours everyday for 2 months before the exam. i'll probably get my economics teacher to write a letter to vouch for me that it wasn't senioritis. because she knows how much time and effort i dedicate to economics. but she can't say anything much, cos i really was a average economics student.

i was sick on the day of the exam too, but i don't have anything to prove it cos i didn't see a doctor since i was going to go for the exam anyway. will it sound more like an excuse than a valid reason?

i'm really, really terrified right now.

plus, if they rescind my acceptance, when will it be? i've been accepted to other places such as Vassar and Boston U. Will they only tell me after May 1 and leave me stranded with no college to attend despite multiple acceptances?

i haven't sent brown my A level grades cos they haven't requested it yet. but i do know it's a matter of time.

help and comments please? thanks :)
