For the last two semesters I've had a 4.5 and 4.6 GPA on a 4 point scale. Does this mean that Emory expects the same type of grades from my 8th semester?? or will just an over 4.0 do (my CGPA is 4.01)??

My grades have been slumping recently, and it seems that I may end up with two or three B's opposed to the straight A's I've received in the past few semesters...

No, no. Avoid C's or lower. A's and B's are priority.

I've asked this question once, and received a response that stated that even "straight B's were supersafe."

Do you agree with this statement??

Ive been told anything but D's and F's are fine. So getting all A's, B's, or C's is fine. Especially if your in AP's.

C's can be bad also, i was put on academic probation last summer for c

Here's what I'm aiming for:

AP Econ macro -B
AP Calc AB- B
AP English- B
Philosophy- A
French III- A

Does that look safe??

As stated, avoid C's and lower, and you should be fine.
