GT sounds like a weeder school. That wouldn’t be my first choice if my plan was to go to med school.
Ok, I haven’t gone back and reviewed the entire thread, but I don’t think OP ever said he couldn’t pay. In fact, I think he said that his parents could afford to pay, but he wanted to check into getting classified as in-state in order to lessen their burden. Folks here have told OP that getting in-state status is almost certainly a non-starter, so now he can evaluate his options with that information.
