What does it take to get an acceptance rescinded from Columbia?

I got my acceptance back in December. I'm aware that a college will take away an acceptance if you start dropping significantly in your grades. I excel in all my other classes, but in one of mu AP classes this year, Ive just been managing a B/B-. Last report card, I got a C :/ and now I'm so freakin scared about getting my acceptance rescinded. I went up in all my other classes so my average was unaffected, but this C is deathly scaring me. :(

Relax, a “C” won’t affect your acceptence. The drop-off must be significant and one “C” is forgivable.

Thank you!

Sorry, in the same boat and kind of freaking out right now. How about 1 “D?”

Thanks

1 “D” will not sink your acceptance, but depending on what class you received the grade in you might have to explain what happened. Not likely though. Good luck!

No one ever gets their acceptance rescinded for academic reasons. In theory, if you were to fail a class or two, it could be rescinded. Every year, people who get a D or even a B freak out, and no one ever gets their acceptance rescinded. At worst, as DowneasterDad says, you’ll need to write a letter apologizing for the bad grade.
