What does it take to get an acceptance rescinded?

Got accepted to Cornell, but been extremely anxious cause my 2nd semester GPA was absolutely absymal compared to first. Went from a 3.9 to a 3.5 (maybe even 3.4 if I did HORRIBLE on my last final exam, pending results). From my perspective, that's all A's and A-to A's and B's but just looking at the GPA, it does seem like a significant drop.

Can anyone confirm for me if I'm fine, I just need to work harder next year, or am I actually at a risk of getting my acceptance revoked? Am I just being paranoid or am I right to be concerned? Sorry for the panic attack, I just worked so hard to make it this far and really frustrated to slip last minute ><

Does Cornell not have your midterm report? How were your grades on that?

It was a 3.7 on my midterm report :frowning:
I heard people say if it’s above a 3.0 its fine, but i don’t know about cornell…

No one can say for sure except Cornell, but I don’t think you will get your acceptance rescinded.

You are absolutely, 200% not getting your acceptance rescinded.
