I am currently a high school junior. I want to know what GPA (weighted and unweighted), SAT scores, etc would put me in a pretty high chance of being accepted. Do they look at extra curriculares? Personal Statement? My current GPA is a 4.14 (weighted) and I am VP of my school and extremely involved. Does that matter when it comes to applying to a CSU? Or is it all about grades and test scores?
I just want to get a general feel of what I need in order to have a good/almost sure shot of getting in. I am already aware of the minimum requirements.

Grades and test scores. You’re a shoe in with that GPA. There’s not a personal statement requirement. As far as I know EC don’t matter as oppose to UC. I got in out of hs with a 3.5 (unweighted) 1500 in the SAT 1…Try for UCs too.

Go bruins!

My unweighted GPA is a lot lower. Is that bad?

Personally, I strongly urge you to consult with your college counselor. To my understanding your CSU GPA is what matters, along with your test scores of course. Below I have attached a link to a thread that discuses some of the freshmen that have been admitted for this upcoming fall so you can get an idea of their stats.
