What does it take to get into UIUC Hoeft Technology & Management Program?

<p>I really really really want to get into consulting after undergrad and I see that almost everybody who gets into PwC, Deloitte,, Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Booze etc. from UIUC was in the Hoeft T & M program. I am only a senior in high school right now but I would really like to get into consulting. I am planning in majoring in mechanical engineering assuming I go to UIUC.</p>

<p>Is there another way to get into these types of companies?</p>

<p>I heard this program is extremely selective and only takes like 30-40 kids each year. You can only apply to the T & M program during your sophomore year at UIUC if you are in the engineering or business school.</p>

<p>Do you know what type of statistics these students who do get accepted have? </p>

<p>Getting into this program depends on your college grades. I’m fairly certain that nothing in high school matters.</p>
