<p>i’m a senior right now and am applying to davis. i’ve had a lot of people tell me davis is a “safety school” for me… i’m above the average stats. can anyone tell me what the average numbers for regents scholars are? </p>

<p>I don't know how many Regents scholarships UC Davis awards, or what the average stats are for people who get them, but I'm pretty sure that you have to be ELC to be considered.</p>
<p>Davis is never a safety. I know people with amazing stats that didn't get admitted.</p>
<p>Basically, have a bunch of extracurriculars, bunch of APs/hardest courseload you can get at your school, and 2000+ SAT Is and high 700something SAT IIs. That should do the trick. :]</p>
<p>Anyone who is telling you Davis is a safety is rather misinformed. Seriously, just read these boards from like March or April and you will see. </p>
<p>But if you are an incredible student you might get Regents, otherwise don't hold your breath.</p>

<p>But in that case your application didn't really go through the full admissions process.</p>
<p>yeah, Davis can be surprisingly difficult to get into.. A friend of mine got into UCSD but was rejected by Davis.</p>
