Grade-wise? I'm not talking about getting suspended or arrested or anything like that. My AP Physics grade has dropped very low this semester and is in C range (possibly to a D? I don't know....). Is there any chance I could get rescinded? I have good grades in all of my other class, Physics is the exception.

SAME. Can anyone answer this?

You are fine. Takes something really major, not just one class to rescind. They are done looking at your grades. If you committed some crime, another story

what if i got straight c’s?

One course that is difficult for you will make make no difference for the college. However, if your approach to the latter part of your high school senior year is one of coasting, you may be dealing with a different issue when college begins. While the college may not rescind your acceptance, the behavior (slacking off during the last semester of senior year) is one that might make the first year in college more difficult. Even though ‘senioritis’ is common, if it sets in early in the year (right after college acceptance, for example), it will cause college freshman to have more academic ‘dust’ to shake off during that all-important first semester and make the transition more challenging.

so getting an F in one class is okay? especially if it is a concurrent college course that doesnt’ count towards graduatiing?

You won’t get rescinded for something as minor as a C in ONE class but, what might be troublesome, is SIGNIFICANTLY lower grades OVERALL in the second semester of senior year compared to your first semester overall performance. Do not worry if you are struggling in one or two classes, Emory can understand a little slack performance in second semester senior year.
