i just got into my one of my top choices illinois urbana-champaign comp sci program
so now my goal is not getting rescinded...
this is my current schedule and my school uses weighted gpa

Honors Military History

Calculus 3 + College Linear Algebra

AP Bio

AP Chem

Honors British Lit

Latin Honors

PE
(all weighted except pe)
my schedule is really tough
and i have no motivation right now
so i have 2 A's (one of them being PE lol), 3B's, and 2 C's

i got 4.4 in my 2nd sem jr year but then
it dropped to 3.9 1st sem sr year and
if i finish with what i have right now it would be 3.8

will i get rescinded or asked by the admission office
after i send in my final transcript?

Hardly a disaster, but I certainly wouldn’t let things slip any further. One, maybe two, "C"s can be overlooked if they’re in your really tough classes. A “D” opens up the door to trouble. I suggest finding a second wind to bring up one of those "C"s to a “B”.

I won’t lecture you about the perils of senioritis except to say that you’ve worked too hard and come too far to blow it now. You’re in at a top choice program at UIUC, don’t give them a chance to change their minds.

Vinceh has a point, if you can bring up those C’s. C’s won’t get you rescinded in MOST cases. Colleges really try hard not to rescind someone, but changing senior classes, or getting grades below C’s are what open up the idea “Maybe this person shouldn’t be coming here…”.

Your grades are still good, and above the “rescind line” in my opinion. Getting straight C’s on the other hand…or mostly C’s with 1-2 B’s is what usually justifies an application being rescinded, at least from observation.

Obviously you are at least somewhat worried otherwise you wouldn’t be asking about being rescinded. If you’re still unmotivated I’m not sure what we can do for you.
