I just committed to BU for a transfer in January.

I'm a first semester freshman engineering transfer. Here are my grades
Confirmed:
Engineering 101: 4.0
Engineering 100: 4.0
University 101: 4.0
English 101: 4.0
Comp Sci 121: 4.0

Unconfirmed/Expected
Chem 101: 2.7 to 3.3
Calc 101: 1.7 to 2.7

So my question is, how badly could this possibly affect my admission, if I get the dreaded 1.7 in calc. If I do, I know the credit won't transfer, but might they rescind my admission even with my other performances?

well it’s usually outlined in your acceptance letter… for me, if i get below a B in any class my admission gets rescinded. you should probably call and tell them what you’re expecting to get so they can advise you properly, like if you should retake the class in winter or anything like that

The acceptance letter only said “This offer of admission is extended with the expectation that you will successfully complete all of your required coursework”.
