Simple question, what does it take to get into a top tier mba program straight out of undergraduate school? I'm sure work experience plays an important role and being a community college transfer, there isn't much available work experience besides flipping burgers and a promotion to manager at burger king isn't all that impressive. So my question is what else can I do to help get admitted to an mba program straight from undergraduate school.

I'm shooting for internships this summer prior to transferring to fall 07. And i'm sure the transferring institution will be able to get me many more internship interviews. I'm a business economics major and accounting minor. Now would two consecutive summer internships at reputable firms put me in the list of running for an mba at a top tier program?

(schools I have in mind for graduate school, ucla, berkeley, and dartmouth)

I know they are a reach for anyone but I really hold ucla dear to my heart and I'd like to be more prepared. I'm 23 next year and its about time I finish up this school thing =).
